School wins communication award

Queen’s Park High School was honoured for its community communications at the recent Cheshire Schools Awards. Staff and students, including Mrs Scanlon, Miss Morris, Libby-Anne Parsonage (Y7), Rory Jones (Y9), Head Boy James Harrison (Y13) and Head Girl Eve Lawlor (Y13) were invited to the awards ceremony at The Queens Hotel where the winners of ten award categories were revealed.

They were delighted to be called up on stage to receive the award for communications.

Marketing officer Lynn Morris said: ” Our achievement is very much down to the dedication, team spirit and support of all the staff, students and parents at QPHS who believe that we can make a difference to the young people we serve, by celebrating their success and sharing their good news in the wider community.”
